  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

The provision of free newpapers to our members on the campuses is one use of this information, and is not used by the newspaper to promote or to you.
  • As a member of a club or participant of a USASA organised event you agree that your details are accessible to USASA staff and organiser of clubs or events and may be used by these people for the this purpose.
  • USASA may email or SMS you with offers that it considers are of benefit to you or the student body.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. The USASA club and events structure does allow club and event organisers access to your data and USASA requires online acknowledgement of the privacy of this information but offers no guarantee that these persons or organisation will meet this obligation. To-date the system as worked perfectly.

How we use cookies

By not allowing this communication club and events you join will not be able to contact you via this system so things will happen you know nothing about.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties for their promotional purposes. We will use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USASA and its directors, affiliates, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, successors and assigns, for any claim, loss, damage or other injury arising out of any act or omission on your part during the event or associated activity.

Club members, volunteers, participants in events or offers

As a member of a USASA Club, participant in a USASA organised event or offer you acknowledge that your personnel personal contact information will be available to the Club or event or offer Organiser(s) and that that Club or event or offer Organiser(s) will not make this information available to any other party and will only use it to contact you about matters relevant to the club. USASA does not permit your contact data to be available to third parties, except as described below, without your written agreement. However you hereby acceptance that USASA in contracting on your behalf or the behalf for the provision of a product or service may provide necessary contact details for the delivery or provision of the services as required; further USASA will where possible in this process attempt to maintain your privacy in restricting the third parties use of that data other than for the safe and essential operation of the contracted delivery or service.

Conditions for the purchaser of goods or services from this site

Refunds are not provided for services or purchases made from this site so users of the site need to take care before committing their moneys.
Delivery time is dependent purchase type, for tours and events delivery will be at the scheduled time or revised time with the ticketing for such being either real time online or 1 week by post. For the purchase of physical items in stock delivery will be either over the respective USASA counter during open hours or by post if so selected and paid for if required within 1 week.
When purchasing items or services from USASA where a third party is involved your contact details may if necessary be provided to them for the delivery of that service or item on their agreement not to use this data for any other purpose.

Conditions for eTrader

Items listed for sale on the eTrader have not been in anyway endorsed by USASA or UniSA. As such you need to take due care before purchase or services engaged or employment undertaken. As a seller your details will not, unless you chose otherwise, be available to be the viewed on the eTrader notice. The interested party can contact you with their contact details, it is then up to you to make further contact.

Conditions for use of the on campus USASA physical noticeboards

All notices must be stamped by USASA before being put up on the notice boards. This service is free for all student and staff of UniSA. Commercial notices must be approved separately by USASA head office, a fee will apply. All notices must be in only English. They must be for a legal purpose and expressed in text and image in a form acceptable the diverse student population. Physical noticeboards can become congested so notice may be removed at any time however a generalise clearance is normally made on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month particularly during Sp2 and Sp5. We suggest you also post your notices on the eTrader electronic noticeboard it is free and has categories to assist you locate what you are after.

Club Organiser Disclaimer

As an organiser for USASA or its affiliated clubs, you agree to be bound by each of the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you must not undertake the duties of an organiser for USASA or its affiliated clubs.
These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time, such changes to be effective upon posting on the USASA website or as otherwise communicated to you.
As an organiser, you accept all responsibility for risk of injury, including fatal injury to yourself. You understand and accept that it is a condition of becoming an organiser for any USASA or any associated USASA club events that you accept all liability for all injury, loss and damage, whether that liability is caused by your own negligence or otherwise.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USASA and its directors, affiliates, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, successors and assigns, for any claim, loss, damage or other injury arising out of any act or omission by you during the performance of your duties as an organiser for USASA or its associated clubs.
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude or modify in any way liabilities of USASA, which cannot by law be excluded or modified. All other warranties are hereby expressly excluded.

As a USASA Club Organiser you acknowledge that the personnel information about club members will not be extracted from this website and made available to any other person or organisation and secondly this information will only be used to contact the club members with respect to matters relevant to the club. USASA does not permit contact data to be available to third parties without the agreement of each club member as expressed in their acceptance of an offer for products or services to which by their nature require the personnel details. Further were such is the case you will obtain the agreement from the third party that they will not use the data for any other purpose than required for the safe and effective delivery or provision of the service the member has accepted.

As an organiser of a club you agree to maintain the online asset register and advise within 24 hours USASA by email USASA.Enquiries@unisa.edu.au of any purchase, loss or damage of a USASA asset.

You agree to completing the USASA Insurance form and returning it to USASA within 1 week of request or at the time of setting up a Club or becoming an organiser of an existing club.

You agree that the funds handled by the club in its activities are the property of USASA and you will use at all times the USASA provided banking facilities and within 48 hours provide USASA and/or its auditors a full evidenced account of the funds. USASA offer a free EFT payment facility for your bills when there is sufficient funds in your club bank account.

A newly formed club has one semester to meet the requirement for 10 UniSA student members and during this time may at the discretion of USASA the club may have access to the services of affiliated clubs. As an organiser of an affiliated Club you agree to advise USASA within 1 month when the club ceases to have 10 UniSA student members.

In accepting the position of an organiser for USASA or its associated clubs, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions and hereby agree to be bound by these terms and conditions
